One Health Committee

• Develop a strategic plan to strengthen AAVMC members' roles in One Health across the spectrum of educational, research, and outreach programs, including consideration of related recommendations from the North American Veterinary Medical Education Consortium (NAVMEC) Roadmap for Veterinary Medical Education in the 21st Century report.
• Update changes in public/global health training for veterinarians and veterinary medical students to collaborate with federal agencies, governmental agencies, and professional organizations to inform students of opportunities in the international arena.
• Provide, recommend, and advise the AAVMC Board of Directors on a One Health strategic plan and resource requirements to meet the goals of the One Health Committee.
• Provide an annual report to the AAVMC Board of Directors on the activities of the One Health Committee.
