The AAVMC will select on an annual basis a current or former faculty or staff member at an AAVMC member institution to receive this leadership award.  The award is given for leadership in public policy for advancing veterinary medical education.  The AAVMC Leadership Committee will review nominations for the award and forward their recommendation of the recipient to the AAVMC Executive Committee.
