Committee Charge
- Provide information and data on gender representation in academic veterinary medicine, including student enrollments and faculty and administrative positions.
- Disseminate information regarding best practices related to creating equitable employment opportunities and work environments for men and women in academic veterinary medicine.
- Provide program development on gender related issues affecting academic veterinary medicine to include, but not limited to, issues such as salaries, work/life balance, reproduction, communication and recruitment.
- Enhance pathways and opportunities that facilitate the ability of both women and men to contribute fully to academic veterinary medicine.
- Promote professional leadership opportunities for women and men in academic veterinary medicine.
