The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) holds its Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C. in March and its Summer Meeting in conjunction with the American Veterinary Medical Association's Annual Convention in July.  These are the times where the Assembly and the committees of the Assembly meet.  All committee meetings of the AAVMC are open to all meeting registrants.

The Iverson Bell Symposium is held in conjunction with the Annual Meeting on odd numbered years and a symposium on veterinary medical education is held on even numbered years.

 

From time to time, additional symposia and workshops are scheduled to develop recommendations in order to further the association's mission.
