LSU plans to be as flexible as possible with students who have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. The AAVMC/VMCAS has already established a hurricane contingency policy where a two week deadline extension will be granted to those who clearly demonstrate hardships created by Hurricane Katrina. The established deadline is midnight, October 17th ET. However, if you are a Louisiana resident applying to LSU and are not able to meet the October 17th deadline, please call (877) 862-2740 or email VMCAS immediately for additional arrangements. If you have questions about transcripts or potential pre-requisites that have been disrupted please contact LSU directly.
