Fee Structure for VMCAS 2010
Application fees are calculated based on the number of colleges to which you are applying. VMCAS does not offer fee waivers at this time.

What does my fee cover?
Your VMCAS fee covers the following services
1. The processing and shipping of your VMCAS Web Application
2. The processing and shipping of your evaluations
3. VMCAS Student and Advisor support
VMCAS does not provide refunds under any circumstances , including when an applicant accidentally chooses the wrong school or if an applicant pays by check but never submits an application. Sending payment to VMCAS signals your intent for VMCAS to process your materials, regardless of whether they are completed or not.
VMCAS offers two methods of payment.
1. Credit card (preferred)
To pay the application fee by credit card, choose that payment option during the submission process and enter the appropriate information on the following screen. Our financial processing is secure and easy to use. VMCAS accepts only Visa and MasterCard.
2. Check or money order
Send the non-refundable application fee to the address below. Be sure to include your full name and VMCAS ID along with your fee payment. If paying by check or money order, you can submit the application early and send the application fee after submitting, as long as your check is postmarked by the deadline.

Returned checks: VMCAS will assess a $25.00 service charge for a returned check. Applicants will receive written notice and instructions to pay the application fee and service charge with a certified check or a money order by a specified date. VMCAS colleges will not review applications if fees have not been submitted.
Re-applicants must resolve outstanding VMCAS fee balances before submitting an application.
Supplemental Applications and Fees
Some participating VMCAS institutions require a supplemental application and/or fee. Supplemental fees should be paid directly to the institution (Do not send your supplemental fees to VMCAS). Please refer to the individual college specification pages to determine if a supplemental fee and/or application is required and the deadline for each school (Supplemental deadlines begin as early as October 1st).
Please note : A college's receipt of your supplemental application or fee may not necessarily indicate that your VMCAS application is complete. The college may have additional requirements that you must fulfill before they consider your application completed. Please refer to the college descriptor pages and the VMCAS application instructions for details.
