VMCAS 2010 Data Dictionary_Revision A:  2010 Data Dictionary

• The VMCAS state lookup has been updated to reflect the Canadian Provinces.  As with the US states, the two character abbreviations are provided by the USPS.  Attached is the Rev A for the schools.  Once again, no data structure changes were made.  This was just an update to the lookup table.

  Added Canadian provinces to lk_state table.

  Added note to clarify use of code 'AE' in lk_state table for 'Armed Forces Overseas'.

VMCAS 2010 Initial Sample File: Mapping Sample File

• 7/13/2009 -The sample file is actually the same file as previous.  We simply renamed the file name and included it in so it will minimize any CSR calls or confusion.

• 05/21/09 - File updated to reflect change in foreign (non-us) Institution code.
