Dr. Jessica E. Brodsky serves as the Associate Director for Academic Affairs and the Educational Researcher for the Spectrum of Care Initiative.

As the Associate Director for Academic Affairs, Dr. Jessica E. Brodsky assists with providing direction and oversight for initiatives and programs that address educational priorities of the academic veterinary medical community. Her work includes supporting the AAVMC Academic Affairs Committee, and developing, implementing, and evaluating AAVMC educational initiatives and programs, as well as coordinating activities relevant to student and faculty affairs.

As the Educational Researcher for the Spectrum of Care Initiative, Dr. Brodsky ensures that the educational resources and recommendations developed by the initiative are research-driven.

Dr. Brodsky is experienced in using evidence-based approaches to advance higher education initiatives, including working with faculty on large-scale curriculum design and evaluation projects. She has conducted quantitative and qualitative research studies in post-secondary education and has taught multiple semesters of advanced undergraduate research methods.

Dr. Brodsky holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and a certificate in Interactive Technology and Pedagogy from The Graduate Center, City University of New York (CUNY). Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Dr. Brodsky worked as a Learning Designer at the Center for Teaching and Learning at Columbia University. In this role, she collaborated with faculty and technical teams to create multimedia course materials and designed faculty-oriented professional development workshops.
