Ms. Anna Jones

Liaison Representing SAVMA (non-voting)

Ms. Anna Jones is a second-year veterinary student at the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. She currently serves as the Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) Senior Delegate at her veterinary college. Moreover, she serves as the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges Liaison for the Educational and Professional Development Committee in the SAVMA House of Delegates. Anna is exceedingly involved in student government for her class and accordingly serves as the Class of 2026 Class President.

Ms. Jones received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2022. She has two delightful parents, who are veterinarians, and two siblings, Grace and David. Additionally, her family has four cherished pets: a Black Labrador Retriever named John Colton and three cats: Gabriel, Lil’ Sister, and Obadiah. She immensely enjoys CrossFit as a hobby, and she further enjoys spending time with her family. Lastly, Anna is keenly interested in pursuing a small animal rotating internship upon completing veterinary school to gain further tutelage in the wonderfully varied facets of veterinary medicine.
