The Association of Veterinary Advancement Professionals (AVAP) became an official component organization of the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges in 2018. Founded in 1998, AVAP is an organization of development, communications, and alumni relations officers working in academic veterinary medicine. The establishment of this formal relationship recognizes and supports the critical role that institutional advancement plays in the success of our member colleges and schools.
