WASHINGTON, DC, December 5, 2024 —The American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) is pleased to welcome Rowan University as an AAVMC Member Institution.
Per AAVMC Guidelines, Member Institutions must be accredited by or gain “reasonable assurance” from AVMA’s Council on Education (COE).
Previously, the University was a Provisional Member of AAVMC’s growing global network. The Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine at Rowan University will be the first veterinary school in the state of New Jersey, and they plan to welcome their first class in fall 2025.
