Jacquelyn Pelzer of Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine joins Monae Roberts from UC-Davis School of Veterinary Medicine to talk about the rise of commercial DNA tests. The tests are forcing us to reconsider the boxes that are used to define us. And, we’re doing it to our pets! A mutt is no longer a mutt with the rise of commercial DNA tests. The guests ponder what it means for all of us.
