The Frederick Douglass Patterson Awardee

In early 2023, the American Veterinary Medical Association created the Frederick Douglass Patterson Lifetime Achievement Award to recognize individual contributions to DEI in the veterinary profession. Willie Reed, DVM, PhD, Dean of the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, is the inaugural recipient of this award.
