Annual Advocacy Day
Advocacy Day, our premier annual advocacy event, brings leaders in academic veterinary medicine and members of Congress together to discuss advancements in veterinary medical education and highlight the economic and public health value of investing in biomedical research.
Our advocacy effort is grounded in the One Health approach, which recognizes the vital connection between animal, human, and environmental health. During our annual Capitol Hill visits on Advocacy Day, we emphasize the need for comprehensive solutions to global challenges—from zoonotic diseases to food insecurity—through this integrated perspective.
