CBVE launched in 2018 through a collaboration between leading veterinary educators from the United States, Canada, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia. This groundbreaking framework has transformed veterinary education programs worldwide. The AAVMC Council on Outcomes-based Veterinary Education (COVE) continues to refine and enhance the model, incorporating valuable feedback from institutions that have successfully implemented CBVE components. This iterative approach ensures the model remains relevant and effective for modern veterinary education.
