Public health experts from Cornell University have designed a digital resource to support people in making knowledgeable decisions to protect their health during extreme temperatures

Three faculty members at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) have received funding support for their health research efforts through the Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation (SHRF).

Dr. Sanam (Sunny) Thukral was close to graduating from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine when she passed away in November of last year after a 30-month battle with glioblastoma. She was awarded a posthumous DVM during commencement ceremonies this May with her family accepting it on her behalf.

Currently, 80 percent of early pregnancy losses aren’t connected with a cause; most existing research examined the mare’s reproductive tract to look for a cause, but one researcher decided to look at the embryos themselves.
