Ms. Amina Karedia

Liaison Representing SAVMA (non-voting)

Ms. Amina Karedia is a second-year veterinary student at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS). She is the Senior Student American Veterinary Medical Association (SAVMA) delegate for Texas A&M CVMBS and the AAVMC Liaison for the Educational and Professional Development Committee within SAVMA.

During the summer of 2019, she was a veterinary student fellow for the Partnership for Environmental Education and Rural Health (PEER), a NSF and NIH-funded program that promotes STEM education and outreach for grades K-12 in rural and under-served areas.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2016. She plans to work in companion animal private practice, with a focus in emergency and critical care medicine.
